On July23, “The research for systematic technology and engineering application of light urban monorail systemwith straddle type”(project ID: Z1410003114002) which undertook by CEC passed the acceptance on the meeting organized by Beijing municipal science and technology commission. It is the Beijing Major scientific and technological achievements conversion cultivation project. The acceptance panel, after inquiry, answering questions and discussion, consistently agreed to accept the project of “The research for systematic technology and engineering application of light urban monorail system with straddle type”.

In recent years, the project team carried out the systematic deeply study on the light straddle type monorail system, and reach a series of research achievements, entitled 8 patents and published 2 papers, possessed the technology for light straddle type monorail system, established the systematic technology for light straddle type monorail system, met the requirements of scientific and technological achievements cultivation, with the co-operation of China Railway Science & Industry Group Co., Ltd., developed the specialized long span PC girder, Multi-functional adjustable beam template, turnouts for light straddle type monorail, developed the critical technology of monorail long span PC girder and turnout, set up the foundation for the engineering application of light straddle type monorail system.
